To provide better services, we may collect the following information:
- Account Information: Email address, Google account ID, nickname, and avatar provided during registration.
- Content Information: Videos, image-text posts, and related descriptions you publish.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), and IP address.
- Usage Data: Browsing history, likes, comments, search history, and interaction records.
- Earnings and Withdrawal Information: Earnings records and payment account information (used only for withdrawals).
2. How We Use Information
The information we collect is used for:
- Providing core features such as short video browsing, publishing, and interaction.
- Calculating and distributing your ad revenue share and processing withdrawal requests.
- Personalized recommendation of content you may be interested in.
- Displaying advertisements (Google AdMob).
- Detecting and preventing policy violations to ensure platform safety.
- Improving product features and user experience.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We will not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent.
- With advertising SDK providers (Google AdMob) sharing necessary device identifiers for ad delivery.
- With cloud storage providers (Cloudflare R2) for storing your uploaded content files.
- With payment service providers sharing necessary information to process withdrawals.
- When required by applicable laws, regulations, or by administrative or judicial authorities.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. Data Security
We store your information on secure servers and employ technical and administrative measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access control, security audits, and other safeguards to prevent information leakage, loss, tampering, or unauthorized access.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Active Account Data: We retain your personal information and content for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our services.
- Transaction Records: Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 3 years for legal compliance, even if the account is deleted.
- Legal Compliance: We may retain certain information longer if required by applicable laws.
- Automatic Deletion: Information no longer necessary will be securely deleted or anonymized regularly.
6. Your Rights
- Access and View: View your personal information in Profile under My section.
- Correction: Modify your avatar, nickname, and other personal information.
- Deletion: Delete your published content at any time.
- Account Deletion: Request account deletion through My > Settings > Delete Account. All data will be removed except where retention is required by law.
- Withdrawal of Consent: Stop using relevant features at any time to withdraw authorization.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your Waou account through:
- In-App: Navigate to My > About > Delete Account.
- Email: Contact support@waou8.com.
Upon a valid request, we will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 15 business days.
8. Protection of Minors
Waou App is not intended for users under 18. If you are a minor, please use this app only with guardian guidance and consent. We do not actively collect personal information from minors. For our complete Child Safety Standards, see the Child Safety tab above.
9. Third-Party SDK Disclosure
- Google AdMob: Ad delivery. Collects device identifiers and advertising ID. Privacy Policy

10. Updates to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes occur, we will notify you through in-app notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Welcome to Waou. By using our app and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using Waou.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Waou App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Waou is not intended for users under 18 years of age. By using Waou, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Account Registration
- You must register using a valid Google account or email address.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Each user may only register one account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. User Content
You may publish videos and image-text posts on Waou. By publishing content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to the content you publish.
- Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Your content does not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Your content does not contain any Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) material.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload, share, or distribute any CSAE content, including any content that exploits minors in any way.
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the app.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
- Create fake accounts or impersonate other users.
- Post spam, misleading, or fraudulent content.
5. Ad Revenue Share
- Waou provides an ad revenue share program for content creators.
- Earnings are calculated based on ad impressions and engagement metrics.
- Payment of earnings is processed via PayPal upon your withdrawal request.
- We reserve the right to adjust the revenue share ratio at any time with prior notice.
- Fraudulent activity to artificially inflate earnings will result in account suspension and forfeiture of earnings.
6. Intellectual Property
- The Waou app, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property.
- You retain ownership of the content you publish.
- By publishing content on Waou, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content within the app.
7. Advertisements
Waou displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These advertisements are subject to Google's own policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
8. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms.
- You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
- Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Waou is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through in-app notifications. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Child Safety Standards

Waou is committed to providing a safe and healthy community environment for all users. We strictly comply with the laws and regulations of all countries and regions, and we have zero tolerance for any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This Child Safety Standards document outlines Waou App's policies, measures, and commitments regarding child safety.
1. Prohibition of CSAE Content
Waou explicitly prohibits the following content and behaviors related to child sexual abuse and exploitation:
- Any nude, semi-nude, or sexually suggestive imagery, pictures, videos, animations, or text descriptions involving minors (under 18 years of age).
- Any content that depicts, promotes, encourages, or facilitates sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
- Any sexually suggestive or adult content targeting minors, including but not limited to virtually generated content (such as AI-generated content, deepfakes).
- Any links, redirects, or advertisements involving pornographic content related to minors.
- Any inappropriate content obtained through covert recording, secret filming, or inducement of minors.
- Any display or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
The above prohibitions apply to all functional areas within Waou App, including but not limited to video publishing, image-text posts, comments, private messages, user profiles, and search functions.
2. Community Guidelines and User Code of Conduct
To protect child safety, we require all Waou App users to comply with the following behavioral guidelines:
- Users must not publish, distribute, share, or store any content involving child sexual abuse and exploitation.
- Users must not induce, coerce, or exploit minors to participate in any inappropriate activities.
- Users must not use minors for commercial advertising, marketing, or any form of adult content creation.
- Users who discover any suspected CSAE content or behavior must immediately report it to the platform.
- Users must not publish videos or images containing identifiable facial features or other personally identifiable information of minors without guardian consent.
Users who violate the above rules will be subject to immediate action, including but not limited to: removal of violating content, restriction of account functionality, permanent account ban, and reporting to law enforcement authorities when necessary.
3. Age Restrictions
Waou App is not intended for minors under 18 years of age. During the registration process, we require users to confirm that they are at least 18 years old. If we discover or are notified that a user is a minor, we will immediately take the following actions:
- Suspend the account's access privileges immediately.
- Delete all content published by the account.
- Notify the minor's guardian or relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable laws.
- Deactivate the account and delete all associated personal information.
4. Content Moderation System
We employ a multi-layered content moderation system to detect and prevent CSAE content:
- Automated Detection: We utilize AI technology and image recognition systems to automatically scan all uploaded content, identifying and intercepting potential CSAE content before publication.
- Human Review: We have a dedicated professional content moderation team that conducts manual reviews of flagged content to ensure accuracy.
- User Reporting Mechanism: We provide a convenient reporting feature allowing users to report suspected violating content with a single tap; reported content is prioritized for review.
- Regular Audits: Our safety team conducts periodic patrols and spot-checks of platform content to promptly identify and address violations.
5. Reporting and Response Process
If you find any suspected child sexual abuse and exploitation content on Waou App or our website, please report it immediately through the following channels:
- In-App Reporting: Tap the "Report" button on the suspected violating content and select the "Child Safety Concern" category.
- Email Reporting: Send an email to safety@waou8.com with the link or screenshot of the violating content and your contact information.
- Customer Support: Contact us through the in-app customer service or email support.
We commit to the following:
- All child safety related reports will receive a response and be processed within 24 hours.
- Confirmed violating content will be removed within 2 hours.
- For serious CSAE violations, we will proactively report to relevant law enforcement authorities and fully cooperate with investigations.
- The personal information and report details of reporters will be kept strictly confidential.
6. Technical and Security Measures
To protect child safety, we implement the following technical and security measures:
- Industry-leading CSAE content detection technology and databases, including participation in industry-shared hash matching systems (such as PhotoDNA).
- Real-time scanning of all uploaded images and videos to intercept violating content before publication.
- Security metadata analysis of user-uploaded content to identify and intercept tampered or disguised violating content.
- Regular updates and optimization of detection algorithms to ensure the ability to identify new types of violations.
- Collaboration with third-party security organizations and industry groups to jointly combat the spread of CSAE content.
7. Employee Training and Responsibility
All Waou employees and outsourced team members involved in content moderation and user services must receive specialized training on child safety protection, including CSAE content identification, report handling procedures, and relevant legal requirements. We require:
- New employees must complete child safety training and pass an assessment upon onboarding.
- Quarterly refresher and update training on child safety knowledge.
- All employees must strictly comply with these standards and applicable laws when handling CSAE-related matters.

Waou complies with the following laws, regulations, and international standards related to child safety:
- United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- United States Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse and Exploitation Act
